At SMT World, we respect your right to change your mind.
This policy explains when and how you can cancel your order, along with your responsibilities once the order process has begun.

🕒 Right to Cancel Before Dispatch

You have the legal right to cancel your order only before it has been dispatched.
If you change your mind before we ship your order, simply notify us during our working hours.

If your order has not yet been dispatched, you will not be charged for cancellation.

🚚 After Dispatch – Cancellation Charges

Once your order has been dispatched, cancellation is still possible; however, the customer must pay the delivery charges incurred by the courier.
Please note that we dispatch all orders only after a confirmation call, ensuring your consent before shipment.

⚠️ When You Cannot Cancel

You lose the right to cancel or request a refund in the following circumstances:

  • The product is not in its original condition (e.g., opened, used, unsealed, damaged, or mishandled).

  • The item has been customized or personalized as per your specific request.

  • The cancellation period has expired — meaning the order has been received and the 2-day return period has passed (as per our Return & Refund Policy).

📦 Example for Return Period

If we dispatch your order on 1st Jan and you receive it on 4th Jan, you have until 6th Jan to request a return (within 2 days of receiving it).
After that, your order will no longer be eligible for cancellation or return.

📬 Returning Your Product

If your cancellation or return request is accepted:

  • Please ensure the product is securely packed to prevent damage in transit.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost or damaged during return shipping.

We encourage all customers to review their orders carefully before confirmation.
Once dispatched, cancellations are subject to delivery charges as per the courier policy.
